This section applies to the mobile apps we publish, currently Emorise Voice (package com.emorise.voice). Emorise Voice is a business telephony app. It connects to the Odoo server operated by your own employer or organisation, and places and receives calls over Twilio. Your organisation is the controller of the call data described here; Lynx Group GmbH acts as its processor.
To sign you in and route your calls we process your username, the address of your organisation's server, your session token, and the phone numbers, timestamps and durations of calls you make and receive. Call history is held on your organisation's Odoo server, not by us. Call audio is carried by Twilio and is not recorded by the app.
Microphone access is used solely to transmit your voice during a call. The app does not record, store or listen to audio outside an active call.
If you grant contacts permission, the app reads your device's contacts to show a name instead of a bare number and to let you search when dialling. Your contacts are matched on your device only. They are never uploaded to our servers or shared with anyone.
Location is optional and off unless you create an automation rule that uses it — for example, setting yourself Available when you arrive at the office. To make that work while the app is closed, the app needs background location.
Your coordinates are compared against your own rules on your device. They are never transmitted to us, to your organisation, or to any third party, and are never stored as a location history. Revoking the permission stops this entirely; only location-based rules cease to work.
The app reads phone state so it can hand over correctly when a mobile call arrives during a VoIP call, and registers a notification token with Google Firebase Cloud Messaging so incoming calls can ring your device.
Crash and error reports are sent to Sentry to help us fix faults. These include your user ID, device model, operating system version and the technical circumstances of the fault. They do not include call audio, contacts, location or message content.
The app contains no advertising, no advertising identifiers and no third-party tracking. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Credentials and session tokens are stored in the device keychain and are erased when you sign out or uninstall the app. Contact and location data are processed in memory on your device and are not retained by us. Diagnostic reports are kept for 90 days. Call history is retained by your organisation under its own policy; ask your administrator to see or delete it. For a copy or deletion of the data we hold, write to privacy@lynxgroup.ch.
Every permission the app requests can be granted or withdrawn at any time in your device settings, and the app keeps working without the optional ones. Withdrawing microphone access prevents calls; withdrawing contacts access means numbers appear without names; withdrawing location access disables location-based automation rules only.
